  • Fees to use the range are set to encourage the public to enjoy the use
    of a safe, well-supervised recreation site.

The Robert Strickland Shooting Range, which opened in 1970, was named for former Volusia County Commissioner Robert Strickland, who served on the Volusia County Commission from 1964 to 1972 and was chair in 1969 and 1971. The 10-acre parcel at 1180 Indian Lake Road was donated by Consolidated Tomoka Land Company. Shooting distances are set at 7-yard, 15-yard, 25-yard, 50-yard and 100-yard target positions.

Directions:
Head west  from Buck’s Gun Rack on International Speedway Boulevard  (U.S 92)  8 miles  or from the I-95 overpass 4 miles and then turn RIGHT on to Indian Lake Road (3rd traffic light after I-95 overpass).Keep straight (North) approximately one mile. The Range will be on the left hand side.

Volusia County Skeet and Trap Club is a public range that welcomes new and veteran clay shooters.

Directions:
Exit 261B, I-95 (coming from the north). The club is 10 minutes from the Daytona Beach Flea Market. Drive right past it, heading south
on Rt. 415, Tomoka Farms Road. Keep driving until you see the Cabbage Patch Bar and hang a right (west) at the intersection. The Volusia
club is located 7/10 of a mile west of the Cabbage Patch Bar, on Rt. 4118 (Pioneer Trail). There is a small sign with the club name at the turn-off
onto the dirt road to the range.

The Volusia County Gun and Hunt Club is a PRIVATE CLUB that allows its members to utilize all *legal firearms within our 36 action pistol bays, 300 yard rifle range, or optional 900 yard range. VCGHC allows Class 3 firearms with appropriate documentation and offers training classes by both the club and Sig Sauer Academy.

MONDAYS & WEDNESDAY’S  –  OPEN RANGE DAYS

The Volusia County Gun and Hunt Club would like to invite the general public and all First Responders within the County to come out and enjoy the finest firearms facility in the area. We are a member’s only range and will welcome the general public on Monday and Wednesdays for a nominal fee.

Location: 4845 East SR 44, New Smyrna Beach, Florida 32168

Directions:

From I-95 use exit 249, State Road 44 Westbound, and go ten (10) miles. The range is on the North side of SR 44, opposite a large microwave tower.

From I-4 use exit 118A State Road 44 Eastbound; you will pass the Volusia county Fairgrounds on your right, after doing so the range is another five (5) miles. A large microwave tower will be on your right as you enter a slight left curve making the entrance hard to see. If you pass the entrance go a little further and make a U-turn Westbound in order to enter the range.

At Daytona Archers everyone is welcome—whether you’re a novice just beginning to get into the sport—or an avid archer or bow hunter looking for a like-minded, family-oriented club to practice with, compete with, and share in a passion for all things archery. They offer a 50+-acre archery practice range, with both 3-D animal targets and circle targets. Club members enjoy shooting and practicing from dawn-to-dusk, 7 days a week. As a member of Daytona Archers you can work on your accuracy, your range (or both!) with various target sets, varying in distance from 10-65 yards.

The range is located on Bellevue Ave. behind the airport. Head west on International Speedway Blvd. for about 1.6 Miles, then turn left heading south on Clyde Morris Blvd. continue South on Clyde Morris Blvd. for 1.5 miles, then turn right onto Bellevue Ave. The Range will be 1.5 miles down Bellevue Ave. on the left hand side.
